Hoad Meadow Pig Rearing Scheme is a small, welfare-led pig rearing service based at Hoad Meadow. We offer a transparent way for customers to have their own pig reared with daily care, clear pricing, and full traceability.Our scheme operates on a pig purchase and monthly pig rent model. Feed and bedding are charged separately based on actual use, ensuring customers only pay for what their pig consumes. All pigs are reared with a strong focus on welfare, biosecurity, and responsible land management.Slaughter and butchery are arranged through licensed UK abattoirs and butchers and paid directly by the customer. Pigs are supplied as whole animals only. We do not sell individual cuts and do not operate as a butcher, farm shop, or food retailer.Hoad Meadow Pig Rearing Scheme is built on honesty, transparency, and traditional farming values — giving customers confidence in how their food is produced.
